Hamburg hosted the jubilee psychological a psychological training seminar for Ukrainian refugees was held in Hamburg.

 

The Russian-Ukrainian team of the project: ‘Psychological support to victims of war in Ukraine’ consisting of a married couple of doctors, Russian political immigrants Alexander and Galina Goncharenko and Ukrainian psychologists conducted the tenth psychological seminar-training with Ukrainian women in Germany on 3-4 May.

The aim of the workshops is to help Ukrainian women overcome post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and refugee adjustment syndrome.

The workshop was conducted by Alla Danilich, a psychologist from Kharkiv.

The workshop was attended by women from six regions of Ukraine.

The seminar was hosted by the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB). ASB (headed by Günter Arndt) were also the financial sponsors of the event.

The project is organised and supported by Martina Baeurle, Managing Director of the Hamburg Foundation for the Politically Persecuted Persons.

During ten training seminars, 122 Ukrainian women received psychological assistance, 20 of them repeatedly.
